Important Security Changes Taking Place!

Over the last few months we have been sharing with you, our plans to implement changes to our web proxy infrastructure by implementing TLS1.1 and TLS1.2. This change is going ahead as planned within the upcoming weeks. As a result of feedback from our clients we will not disable TLS1.0 as originally planned. We will continue toaccept the three levels of encryption; TLS1.0, TLS1.1 and TLS1.2.
By implementing TLS1.1 and above we will have visibility of any transactions utilizing Equifax services u sing TLS1.0 only. We will then engage with those clients on a one to one basis to discuss migrating to the higher encryption levels and committing to a timeframe for t his to be in place.
Once all clients are fully migrated to TLS1.1 and above, we will communicate our final date of removing TLS1.0 from our protocols which will be no later than June 2018.

Also we are pleased to announce the launch of Equifax Watchlist Check. As an Explorer user you will have access to it immediately.

What is Equifax Watchlist Check?
We have combined the Dow Jones Watchlist global database with BAE System.s NetReveal® solution to create a comprehensive, reliable and accurate worldwide customer screening service to support and help you to comply with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing regulation.

What action do I need to take?
None, you can use Equifax Watchlist Check now as a standalone check via Equifax Explorer. A future release will integrate it with the Equifax Anti-Money Laundering Prof ile. The standard prices are as follows:-
Customer Screen and Summary Report: £0.50
Full Report: £0.25
