EQUIFAX INVESTS IN THE TELCO AND RETAIL MARKET

Neil Compton appointed Client Sales Director

London, 22nd June 2009 - Leading credit and business information provider, Equifax, has announced the appointment of Neil Compton as Client Sales Director for its Telco and Retail team. Building on seven years experience at Equifax, Neil will be responsible for developing and implementing long term strategies designed to grow revenue and cultivate profitable relationships with clients in the Telco and Retail sectors.

Having been a Client Sales Manager for Equifax since 2001, Neil has an in-depth knowledge of the business, including four years managing a number of accounts in the Mail Order, Telco and Retail sectors.

"Equifax has a great reputation for providing thought leadership and innovative solutions that enable clients to overcome the business challenges they face" confirmed Neil. "And we have built an enviable reputation in the Telco and Retail sectors in recent years.

"In the current climate, our clients are looking to us more than ever to use our expertise and wealth of experience to help them manage risk and acquire the most profitable customers. We do this by providing intelligent insight into what's happening with their customers, their competitors' customers, the industry and the economy as a whole.

"In particular, Equifax provides solutions that help businesses effectively manage their customers throughout the relationship lifecycle from recruitment and acquisition to collections and recoveries. Although new business acquisition is still vitally important, the downturn in economic conditions also means clients are focusing considerable attention on existing customer relationships and our Predictive Sciences capabilities are ideally positioned to help better manage the risk and exploit the growth opportunities in existing customer bases. "

"Neil has a wealth of expertise and his vision and drive will be instrumental in helping taking the Telco and Retail team to new levels of success" confirmed Jim Broom, Strategic Accounts Sales Director, Equifax. "He has been a valuable asset to the company and this appointment is a clear indication of his ability to strengthen our market share in these sectors, as Equifax continues to deliver market leading solutions to its clients in difficult market conditions."
